Woodbine
Farm Alpacas
Woodbine Farm Alpacas
are situated in 15 acres of beautiful countryside on the
Norfolk/Suffolk border, 8 miles from Diss. We moved to Woodbine
Farm in November 2007 and soon purchased 6 pregnant female alpacas
with which to begin our business. After careful purchasing and
selective breeding we currently have over 30 alpacas including our own
stud male, in association with Morden Hall Alpacas - Zarza Marley
Rizardo II - and have
included him in
our current breeding programme.
By
careful breeding we aim to continue to
improve the quality of the
fleece of our herd. Within the next year we hope to have a
range
of Woodbine Farm Alpaca fleece products on sale. Our
intention is
to specialise in black alpacas but we also have fawn, white and brown
within our herd. All of our Alpacas are registered with the British
Alpaca Society.
Not only are we building up
our
Alpaca business but also renovating our 17th Century farmhouse.
